Meet Alex

One of the questions I get asked most frequently is why did I start Franklin Morrow? The short answer is I wanted to provide a better quality and more affordable sock than what was available on the market. But honestly, it’s more than that. I wanted to find a way to help individuals dress better at an affordable price. Very quickly into this journey and based on observations from a previous career, we shifted to both helping individuals dress better, but also helping organizations market better.

Many organizations want to market themselves and welcome new employees by giving out branded gear. Unfortunately I always found that branded gear missed the mark and generally found the trash can. At Franklin Morrow we wanted to provide organizations with a unique alternative to their branding efforts…custom socks.

I wanted to create a product that people wanted to wear and while helping organizations market in a fresh new way.

I came from a small town and always saw folks in my community giving back to the place we called home. From day one, we built philanthropy into the brand: for every pair of socks we sell, we donate a pair to someone in need. We also work with local charities to produce custom socks (at no cost to the charity) to assist them in their fundraising efforts.

At the end of the day, I just love that something as simple as socks can bring joy, spark conversations, and give back to the community.
